TV Recommendations
Any one have any recommendations on decent/reasonably priced tv's? I am looking in the 40-42 inch range, maybe 46....
Also, I know tv sound can be pretty bad sometimes so what is a cheap way to set up decent sound. I do not really care about surround sound or anything like that.

Re: TV Recommendations
Just got a 40 inch Samsung for 500 at target. Great TV, only complaint is sound is below average, but it sounds like you are setting up your own sound system so it would be a perfect TV.

I'd recommend Samsung, but I've also heard good things about Sony, Sharp, Philips, LG, and Visio.

Ugh, idk. I hate shopping...
How much would a low end soundbar cost? Amazon.com: RCA 46LA45RQ 46" 1080p Full HD LCD TV: Electronics
$500 at best buy..

Re: TV Recommendations
Just my opinion but I'd up your budget by $100 if you want a 46" and get toshiba or samsung LCD or even better get a 46" Panasonic plasma. If you're limit is $500 than I'd look for the same names in 42".
I assume you have a HD feed? http://www.amazon.com/Toshiba-46G310...3050505&sr=1-1

Re: TV Recommendations
stick with Sony, Samsung, LG, and Visio. Sony is the way to go if you have the budget for it. Just make sure it is 1080p, 120hz.

Re: TV Recommendations
Panasonic is the best plasma you can buy.
