Seems premature to say "he's back" but he's getting better. I would suspect he wins 1-3 PGA tour events next year. Possibly a major but he's still driving the ball all over the place and his putting is still a work in progress.
He has played this course many times.
CFH HMagic bball season.
Let my fred's Four Horsemen ride.
How can you say this? He isn't the same player he was 3 or 4 years ago. Players aren't afraid to beat him anymore, the fear factor is gone. He'll have to prove that he can be the best golfer in the world again.
Uh, what? I never said he was/would be the best golfer in the world again. I just he would be winning again. He wasn't driving it straight when he was winning either. But he was healthy and he made miraculous shots and made more birdies than anyone. He was also the best putter on tour. He is healthy now and if he starts putting, he will win again.
I dont know if I would say back yet but he is definitely getting there. looks like he is definitely getting a consistent swing down, making quality shot and making some putts. You can tell he is finally getting confidence back in his swing. Next year will be interesting to see what he does and really fun if he starts shooting well again.
Did anyone watch Tiger Sunday and his match with Zach? It was tough not to root for Iowa native Zach, but will say I was rooting for Tiger to get back to his winning ways.
I like my sports heros with a touch of "heroism". While I admired his game before the dark times, there is very little about the man that is admirable, respectable and cheer-worthy. I'd take a guy like Rory every time - engaging, personable, approachable, likable - you want to kid to win because he was a great game but is maybe a better person.
