Feel free to continue calling me names though, I can take it, I just look at the source. He wouldn't be stellar or anything. Question though, because there's something I don't understand. How would White and Gibson foul him out?

I am not sure how he could have left in an "honorable" way... he did not trash Gmac or the program on the way out the door which he surely could have. The whole "closer to home" thing is hilarious, but obviously it was just a canned excuse he used to avoid having to talk bad about his former coach. Personally I hope Hamilton likes it at LSU just as much as I like it that he is no longer at ISU. That pretty much sums it up.

Re: Justin Hamilton update
Gibson's
13.6PTS/7.9REB/0.3AST/1.4TO/1.0BLK/2.7FOULS 74%FG/37%FT
I think that Hamilton is a much better defender than Gibson at this point in their careers though.

The lesson here is that friends should never communicate. Lesson to be learned is that 2 kids with no loyalty shouldn't be cracking jokes about their subpar coach when they were both subpar players that helped him to achieve subpar results.

Marcus Fizer=great Dude really? I'll just have to assume you're messing with me like Clones21 messes with people. I like your definitions, but if you go by that, there is no way I would put Rancik and Hamilton in the same category. To continue on what you said, which I like, I would have to add "Justin Hamilton=below average". I would however say Rancik and Shirley were pretty even. Speaking of which, if Rancik would have been healthy we would have won the national championship, but I digress...
I find it interesting that you put Paul Shirley as good, because I figured you to be one of those people who back then complained about him, while I was one of the guys defending him.

When did Hamilton crack a joke? He said "haha." You can untwist your panties, apparently you've been angry at him for two years over something that didn't happen.
And Staiger wasn't exactly kicking Gmac's dog either. I think the lesson is: if you are oversensitive and easily offended, you probably shouldn't read other people's conversations of Facebook.

Re: Justin Hamilton update
Martin Rancik (when healthy-which was rare) is waaaaay better than Hamilton.

Re: Justin Hamilton update
Face it...if Ham was still on the team many folks on this site would be complaining even if he had those numbers here. We seem to be unhappy much of the time with our players and coaches.
Having witnessed Ham in several practice sessions (hardest working person on the floor always) I would welcome his contribution. His hustle might be the spark we need.

Just noticed that Justin Hamilton was named the SEC player of the week after some big games against Virginia and Ole Miss. Hamilton Named SEC Player of the Week - LSUsports.net - The Official Web Site of LSU Tigers Athletics -

Re: Justin Hamilton update
He was on his way to be a good player here, and he will do very well at LSU. Averaging 13 and 7 and the guy was a really good defender, plus he was 7'0. Look around you, 7 footers that can move don't grow on trees.
Hamilton was a good player here and is at LSU, people that don't see that don't know anything about basketball and have immediately discredited themselves.
Better or worse than SO and SO is not relevant. The point is he was a good player, 7'0, mobile for that size, and was a big loss for the program. To suggest otherwise reveals ignorance of the game.

Re: Justin Hamilton update
A loss, but not a huge loss...
He still had a lot of work to do to improve his game...He was not a physical presence down low, and struggled to finish around the rim. For being ~6'11, he was a weak player.
Good for him that he is doing well in the SEC and playing closer to home.....
