    IntoNow by Yahoo is a cool App for delving into TV shows and sporting events. Google Earth is always fun to mess around with. I told myself that I wasn't an "Apple Guy", but the iPad2 is an incredible piece of technology.



    Oh, and there is a pretty sweet HawkeyeNaton.com App..

    I am a Hawk fan but enjoy visiting this site. The topics and discussion is usually much more refreshing on this site, and I don't dislike the Cyclones at all. So my question for the mods is this: is there any plans in the works for a CycloneFanatic App? Or is there one and I'm just too lazy/stupid to find it in the App Store?

    I suggest Flipboard for getting your news and etc.

    Personally I really stick to a few "key" apps:
    ESPN (I suggest both of their apps, watchESPN, and ScoreCenter)
    Flipboard
    Twitter
    Facebook
    Safari
    Mail
    IMDB
    iBook
    Kindle

    I got an I pad as well. It's pretty awesome. I'd also like some applications particularly productivity and business apps.

    Make sure you get the Iowa State app for the iPad. It costs a few bucks on iTunes, but it provides excellent videos. Also GoodReader is a great business app for reading business files. USA Today is a free newspaper app. Google Earth isneat.Realtors.com lets you look for homes in your area.

    Many others, but these are a few really good ones.

    Get an apple tv as well. Allows you to stream anything on your iPad to your HDTV via your home wireless network. I streamed the last mbb game through the Iowa state cyclones app and watched on my tv via the apple tv. Pretty cool.
