42" LED mount & Mediacom cablecard Q's
I am looking for a recommendation on a tv mount that will be placed above a fireplace. However, the placement will be too high and I'm looking for a mount that I can pull awayf from the wall and down (to lower the tv). I've checked monoprice.com and they don't carry such a product, any suggestions?
I also purchased a tivo premiere and understand I will need a cable card from Mediacom. I can't imagine it will be difficult to install the card, but can anyone share their experience with Mediacom's cable cards? Also, how do I get the most HD content without purchasing a digital box?

Sanus makes mounts that are full-motion and can swivel.
Best Buy carries them.

I own a tivo hd and a tivo premiere, and am working on getting a tivo premiere set up for my parents right now.
The cablecard install process seems to be hit and miss. Mediacom has some bad cards in their system, and a lot of techs who are completely clueless about cablecards (and some who are actively hostile to tivos). Customer service is usually a complete joke when it comes to cablecards (all most know how to do is to send a couple hits and then schedule a truck roll).
For instance, the cable card i got for my parents tivo was supposed to have expanded basic channels enabled, and then the rest would come over once the card was provisioned\paired. Instead, none of the channels are enabled right now. I dont know if its a signal issue, cablecard issue, etc. Probably going to need a tech out, and hoping things get cleared up there.

Best Buy carries them. Amazon carries those same Sanus mounts, for cheaper. Very nice mounts though (helped install 4 of them this spring)

Pro Tip for Mediacom support. Hit up their support message board first. The people are really helpful and very fast to reply, and you don't have to wait on hold.

Mono price has mounts that pull away and tilt down. I doubt anyone makes wall mounts that will pull out and fold down for lower viewing. Just purchased two mounts and was pleasantly surprised on quality and price
