I'd rather stay in Central Iowa, but I've held on to that idea too long and missed some opportunities already. The job market in my field is terrible nationally, and even worse in Central Iowa. It's almost a certainty that I won't find a job here soon, which is why I've been looking about anywhere I can.Quote:

I accidentally caught a glimpse of a dong photo on a friends phone last night.
Regarding the wife/GF sports thing. I have been with my girlfriend for almost 2 years. She grew up with only sisters and she really is clueless when it comes to sports. But she knows how much sports mean to me and she tries really hard to understand what's going on. She asks a lot of questions, which obviously can get kind of annoying, but I absolutely wouldn't have it any other way. Here's the confession part: I think it's hilarious.
I miss Charles Boozer.
I love trains. History, modern era, HO scale modeling. It's like a disease. I find them as fascinating as WWII history.

I buy, read and watch most anything Fantasy/Scify...... I've now gotten hook onto comic books, graphic novels, and even obsessed to watch some of the older animated series again. Oh and remissness about the days of having batman pajamas with actual cape! Foturnately I don't Wow, but regularly play Magic the Gathering. Besides sports, these are the only other video games I play. I also will stop and watch a documentary about anything, I usually don't retain most of the information, but it's actually entertaining to me.
Now I know there are others who are MORE NERDY than I, but I've shown up to the meetings with Nametag and a box of kool-aid in hand! I'm still into my "artsy" things as well - music, photography, sculptures, architecture, etc....but it's an expression of self, so they crossover anyway.
