    RAW-return of Chris Jericho

I'm sure people who have been following longer than me ( I followed up until about 2001.) are pumped about Chris Jericho back on RAW.

My question is what did he do over the course of his earlier career that made him so popular?

Last I remember was he had long hair and would get into verbal spats with the Rock.

    He's coming back? Yes!

he was the ultimate heel. He had it all. He was funny, obnoxious, over the top and just a really good performer.
    I'm on Twitter too: Tre4ISU

    Or so I have read.

    Re: RAW-return of Chris Jericho

OP--need to spend more time looking at Chris Jericho. Man can wrestle, be good or bad, and can talk up a storm.

That said, this particular comeback is baffling. Three weeks, hasn't said a word or done anything.

This might be the return of CM Punk, the version that got people excited.

During the Monday night wars, he was one of the more popular mid carders in WCW. He was hilarious. Had a sidekick named Ralphus. Was a fantastic wrestler in the Cruiser Weight Division. Great matches with Dean Malenko, Rey Mysterio, etc.

He was underutilized there and then made the jump to WWE.

I'll never forget his RAW debut - he was having his big WWE intro when Rock comes out and rains on his parade by proclaiming "we're supposed to be impressed by you wrestling guys named 'Juventud?'"
Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice?
Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.

This storyline is doing is stupid. He's going to be a heel. All of actions show that he is portraying someone is self absorbed a natual position for Y2J. Raw though has gone in the *******. What happened to the nash hhh storyline? This Brotius Clay and Zach Ryder characters suck, and they brought back Kane with a mask back on.

WCW was the best back in the day. Wolfpack all the way. Red NWO!

This. I don't have cable anymore, so I can't tune in, but this will finally give Punk somebody truly gifted on the mic to play off of. Should be some entertaining stuff if the writers just sit back and let them do their thing.

Zach Ryder is awesome. They should have turned Brotius Clay into a monster and not a funk master who wears a singlet 6 sizes too small.

    What happened to alex Riley??
