    VHS to DVD & Editing Software

    What would i need to transfer VHS home movies to DVD using my computer.

    Hardware: I have an old VCR. Do I need Some type of AV to USB chord? Or is it more complicated than that?

    Software: Any good freeware to record and edit the video? Might want to edit some of the sound volume & quality, and maybe snip some of the video
