    Suspect shot in California.

    [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L615IWsHJMs]Suspect with Crowbar Shot Outside Carls Jr - Monterey Park,CA - YouTube[/ame]

    The only people who think this cop was not justified are the ignorant ones...."He could have shot him in the leg." Could he have? Really? Put yourself in that situation and tell me if you can execute a shot to the leg, let alone even be able to think about anything at all. The only thing that matters is training, muscle memory, and reaction. That cop reacted alright.

    What sickens me is the kids laughing about the whole situation.

    Re: Suspect shot in California.

    I wouldnt say shouldve shot him in the leg (if you're going to pull the trigger, you better mean it)... and its a pretty crappy quality video... but that many shots seems excessive.

    Cant fault them actually shooting him though. They appeared to try everything less and he was raising his weapon. He left them no choice but to escalate.

    Nothing wrong there the suspect raised his weapon in the direction of the officer.

    1. I think he probably deserved it.
    2. I think 10 shots may have been to much.
    3. The dog could have probably made him surrender.

    Re: Suspect shot in California.

    1. Warning to stop advancing

    2. Pepper sprayed to warn again

    3. Made a quick movement in direction of officer with the weapon

    4. Other officer shot to protect his colleague (officer could have stopped when he paused after shot ~5)

    Yep, seems like he was given multiple chances to make the correct choice.

    Taser and guns drawn didn't seem to have much effect, not sure the dog would have either. Not letting the dog get whacked just like I'm not letting that cop get whacked. Shoot the punk that won't listen.
