Think the calories & what not are different also (platinum has fewer calories than Bud Heavy, but more alcohol by volume).
If you want 6% beer, why not just drink an ale that's not mass produced by Imbev or MillerCoors. Most craft breweries make beer that's at a minimum 5% and only less if it is on purpose (i.e. "small beers").
If you want some beer that will knock your socks off, start drinking barley wines.
