The Grey - Liam Neeson movie
Just got back from watching a matinee of this, and man is it a good movie. Don't get suckered in by the advertising making it look like an action movie, because it isn't. It is a great drama/suspense movie that deals with death more realistically than any movie I've ever seen. No spoilers here but I thought the ending was great as well. Anyone else seen it, and if so what were your thoughts?

Re: The Grey - Liam Neeson movie
I've wanted to see it ever since seeing the previews on TV. I will probably wait until its out on video to see, though.

Looks good, was hoping it wouldn't suck. Get nervous when they advertise alot.

Re: The Grey - Liam Neeson movie
All I know by the trailer is that if I get stuck at the North Pole and their are animals trying to get me. I want Liam Neeson with me.
Nobody but HB knows for sure. You pretty much know nothing....like Knownothing would like to say.

I hadn't put any serious thought in going to this in theatre mainly because I thought the previews made it seem like another "Liam Neeson is a bad***" action movie. Now I may have to reconsider entirely off of your review. No pressure. -

Liam Neeson Is A Bad *** flicks are always entertaining, and this one looks no different.
Glad to hear good reviews.

It is really well done, and any violence in the movie is necessary for the plot, it isn't gratuitous (and believe me I can be a fan of gratuitous violence, i love the TV show Spartacus). In a lot of ways I can see how this movie relates to Liam Neeson's real wife's death due to a skiing accident. It is almost like you can see him working through it on screen.

As a result, I will do one of two things when flying in the future: 1) Never fly from Alaska, and 2) If I do fly from Alaska, I will make sure to have a sword with my stuff. Good movie, and MAKE SURE TO STAY ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE CREDITS as there is more stuff.

It was not the best movie for me to watch when I have to take a flight over the rockies in a couple of days, but I'm sure I'll get over it.

Good movie. Pretty intense--there's not much downtime in this flick. I thought about staying through the credits, but the wife was wanting to get out of there.
She said if we were watching it at home, she'd have left halfway through.

I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong. -
Re: The Grey - Liam Neeson movie
Taken was another great flick of his.

Great movie. Liam Neeson delivers yet again. The movie did such a good job building tension. I don't think I breathed during the plane crash sequence. I definitely recommend it
