Been to one JB concert in my life. WOW! The party in the parking lots prior to the concert made the best ISU tailgating look tame. It was crazy.
A few years ago I was 4th person in line and the place sold out before I could buy. (before it went Internet-only sales thru Ticketmonster). Sold out in less than 8 minutes. The venue was either Alpine Valley or Chicago Tweeter, can't remember.
The one downside about the April date in Iowa is the cold weather. The best tailgates are the hot tailgates. And, I think the outside venues are awesome.
We've been going annually since the late 90's. Phins up!
Is it known when tickets go on sale? I need to get my *** to concerts for my music 102 class.
Jimmy Buffet is good. Golden Buffet is better.
