Website Design Question.
I need a website made that does the following.
Can have unique logins and passwords. An unlimited number of them.
Can be email capable meaning that when a user hits submit on a form, the contents of the form he filled out are automatically sent via email to an email address.
Basically i will use it to be able to gather information from around 100 different employees. They login using their username/password and fill out a form and hit submitt and their info is sent to me.
How hard is a site like this to create? are these difficult things to do or more like childsplay to someone who does it for a living. The guy who normally does real simple beginner sites for us says he will have no problem doing this.
Also, who knows of a good webhost service for something like this?

Re: Website Design Question.
With 100 or so employees, would it not be easier to just do an old-fashioned survey via paper or email?

Re: Website Design Question.
You could send out a survey (use it as a form too) from surveymonkey.com Gather the info that you need by specific questions. Create it quick send it out through email.

Re: Website Design Question.
From what you've described it sounds quite simple. Someone who does beginner sites should be able to handle it. A domain to host the website will run you $15 per year (I use DirectNIC.com) and hosting will vary depending on what you use but will generally run about $5 per month for basic shared Windows hosting (I have gone through a few and am finally happy using Arvixe.com). If memory serves Arvixe may give you one free domain which they will renew annually when you sign-up (although that may have been a special they were running when I signed up).

You aren't even asking the right questions. Originally Posted by bringmagicback I need a website made that does the following.

Also, who knows of a good webhost service for something like this? I was a victim of a series of accidents, as are we all. -
