Driver's License Question
So, I moved to Illinois about 2.5 years ago and I still haven't gotten an Illinois DL. In Illinois its required to get an IL DL within 90 days of moving here. I'm way over the 90 day mark. I plan on going to take the written test and finally get my license in the next couple of weeks after I get my birth certificate, etc.
My question is: If I happen to get pulled over between now and then, is there any way the police officer will know that I've lived over here that long without getting my DL? I realize I probably should have asked this question a long time ago. Actually, I shouldn't have been a lazy *** and just gotten an IL DL about 2.5 years ago when I first moved here. I'm just hoping I don't get pulled over between now and then... *knock on wood*

EDIT: I'm an idiot. Of course he would know, my car has been registered over here for about 2 years. Nevermind. ****.

Not to mention the fact that you totally just jinxed yourself. Tough break.
You can spend a lot of time and money picking out the perfect floral bouquet for your date ... but you're probably better off checking if you have bad breath and taking the porn out of the glove compartment. The moral: you gain more by not being stupid, than you do by being smart. Smart gets neutralized by other smart people. Stupid does not. -

Just play the, I had no ******* idea card.
I got pulled over(in Iowa granted) and he asked if I still lived in Creston. Said no moved to Waterloo a few years ago and he said I should go get a new license ASAP for whatever reason he said. Pretty different, but I didn't get in any trouble for that, just not wearing a seatbelt.

There are not many crowds or places in the country that have a better impact on the game than at Iowa State. The Cyclone fans are truly a sixth man. The place is so loud and always a fantastic crowd." - Former Kansas and current North Carolina head coach Roy Williams -

I've gone state to state before and never needed anything other than my driver's license from the old state. Do you really need a birth certificate to get a license in Illinois if you already have one from another state?
