    Being a vegetarian...for Lent

For lent I am becoming a vegetarian except fish. Any tips from those who are vegetarians?

Thoughts about doing it? (Let's not discuss the Lent part so much as the Vegetarian, I wanna keep this in Off-Topic)

I've done it for the last four weeks.

I have a protein shake for bf and a tuna salad for lunch and stirfry for dinner. Lost 17 pounds since January 3rd. Not really that hard to live without chicken.

Do you have mayo in your tuna salad? Wouldn't that be cheating since mayo is eggs and oil?

    Give up lent for lent.

Technically your protein shake contains milk/cheese products unless it is soy protein, so it is not really vegetarian.

    Re: Being a vegetarian...for Lent

Let's see what else you could give up for Lent instead of meat.

    Ketchup.
    DSM Rag.
    Big Ten Network.
    Making Snowmen.
    Getting to work ontime.
    Using pencils.
    Using erasers.
    Watching cartoons.
    Walking Tacos.
    The Bachelor

All kinds of stuff you can forego instead of missing your chicken fix.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style.

I believe that is still vegetarian. You are thinking of vegan.

There is a difference between being a vegetarian and being a vegan.
