My wife and I are heading to Kansas City next weekend. She is into shopping but not the high end $$$$$ retail. I saw they have a Legends outlet mall on the West side of the metro, but wasn't sure if that was true outlet or what? People who are in the "know", any ideas or recommendations on shopping where you can get good deals with good stores would be great. We are staying in the plaza but won't do much actual shopping there.

Nice little pedestrian mall. Like earlier stated, some outlet type stores with non-outlet stores sprinkled in. There is a Dave and Busters at one end of the mall, if you would like something to do or tvs to watch NCAA tourney, while the wife shops.
Zona Rosa be prepared to do a lot of walking, and if the weather isn't great, not fun since it's not enclosed. The same for the Legands, all open air, not enclosed.
