It's almost a hidden gem in my opinon. Much more spacious and inviting than Prairie Meadows. Tables are right in the front. It is more wide open so you don't have smoke all over you. The buffett is newly renovated and excellent. Parking is easy as well. The only down side is most of the patrons are old people so you have to deal with that when its busy.
Remember that stressed spelled backwards is desserts!

I've been to Meskwaki for a poker tournament as someone under 21 before as well. Their poker room is decent but nothing special. If you aren't 21 you won't have the chance to explore the casino or do anything else because they will be watching you go straight to Poker.
Only played in one tournament there back in the day. The room was packed and very fast paced. I dont like tournaments with rebuys so I don't play them almost ever.
The Mes tournys are pretty bad turnouts...at least the ones I have been to. I went there for their Saturday tourny, and there was only about 50 people.
I compare this to the Saturday tourny down at Riverside Casino here in eastern Iowa, where they nearly always cap out at 120 and most of the time have 20+ alternates. The only downside is that it is more or less a turbo tourny.
Good times on Hawkeyenation.com after the 2010 Wisconsin Game!
I've been here a few times and since this is literally the only Casino I've been to and I am allowed to get in, it is all I know. They apparently have better turnouts on these Tuesday night tournaments but since Tuesday is a crappy night to drive 50 miles then head back late I haven't done it.
I'll let everyone know I guess. The Saturday/Sunday tournaments are usually 40-60 people
