    First thunderstorms of the year!

    Just starting to roll in to Ames right now. I don't think they're suppose to be anything too severe, but its still exciting for person who loves a good storm like me

    I wish my apartment provided cheap free mediacom. Instead I get cheap free direct tv that doesnt even show in digital. Yeah, thats right, only analog channels for me. Yippie!

    I miss it. Denver is dry to the bone. Lake beds that are usually full by now (from mountain runoff) are completely dried out. Very light snow this past winter and no precipitation for about 25 days now.
