Florence Colgate has been dubbed "Britain's Most Beautiful Face," and there's science backing the claim up.

The winner of a Britain-wide beauty contest sponsored by Lorraine Cosmetics, Colgate has mathematically perfect looks, according to statistics reported by the Daily Mail. Not only is the 18-year-old's visage perfectly symmetrical, but she has the "optimum ratio" between her mouth, eyes, chin, and forehead.

It's funny because yeah symmetry can be a big contributor to attractiveness obviously (nobody in the world is perfectly symmetrical), but even if you were extremely symmetrical wouldn't mean you were "beautiful"...your facial bone structure could still be average or suck and you still wouldn't be amazing even if you were perfectly symmetrical.

I saw a site awhile ago showing some celebs and did the mirror image thing (left side of the face, right side, etc) and the majority were better looking (IMO) than both of their perfectly symmetrical photoshopped mirror pics. Only a few of them looked almost exactly the same in all three pics.

Yeah, not trying to say anything about her. Just saying that yeah symmetry isn't everything, but yeah ratios are more important usually.
