Ferrari is a mystique, one I love as well mind you. Until recently, as far as cars go, theirs generally sucked balls. They were good performers, but God forbid you miss a minor maintenance. I admit they are things of beauty and sound wonderful, but the true cost of owning a Ferrari is constantly having it in the shop. I was very serious about buying a 328 GTS, until I started looking into the maintenance. The 15,000 mile service runs $7-$10K, depending on who you know. And this isn't like Chevy telling you to do the 30,000 mile service. You have to do it and unless you really know what you are doing, you can't do it yourself.

It's a true story. I'll probably still buy American, but Germany makes among, if not the best cars I the world.

Sounds pretty bad ***, coming from a GM guy.
And I don't think my Corvette has anything to do with the size of my *****.

Re: New Ford Mustang V-8 rated as world's most powerful
I can find something good/bad about every sports car but there are very few that I really dislike.
Re: New Ford Mustang V-8 rated as world's most powerful
Jeez, I thought everyone knew the color of your car was more important than hp. My first car was around 95 bhp but it was freakin' BRG, aka British RACING Green! The same year Ford offered Dark Green Metallic for their Mustang. Dark green versus RACING GREEN, no contest!
Horse power be damned! Just remember the old Maria Muldaur song It Ain't the Meat (It's the Motion).
PS: My current cars are Guards Red, Meridian Metallic and Ocean Blue Pearl, truely most awesome colors for the three Krautmobiles.
Re: New Ford Mustang V-8 rated as world's most powerful
How small does your ***** need to be before you buy one of these cars?
Re: New Ford Mustang V-8 rated as world's most powerful
Please gentlemen, post photos of your rides, cars or trucks, that you currently own. Let's have a Cyclone car/truck show!

You own a car that gets you from point A to point B. Good for you. I have one of those as well. And one of these days when I have cash to spend I'd like to get from A to B with a smile on my face.

Haters gonna hate.
Re: New Ford Mustang V-8 rated as world's most powerful
Really wish Ford would restyle the Mustang. It may have the biggest engine in the world and have the biggest bang for the buck, but it's still not a good looking car to me. I'd take a Camaro and certainly a Vette over the Mustang. Now if they change the body style, it might be a different story.

I wish they would all move away from the retro look.
Here are some sketches of the 2014 Mustang. I see they stole the front end of the Aston Martin again.

They are redesigning it, as posted above. And you can actually thank Ford for the way the Camaro looks. If it wasn't for Ford's retro re-styling on the 2005 Mustangs, Chevy probably wouldn't have done what they did to the Camaro. The Camaro is a good looking car, but is just a hair over the top for styling for me. I have to give them credit though, they did a great job putting a concept car into production without a lot of changes. Then again, I own a '69 Mustang Convertible as well as a 2012 Mustang Convertible, so obviously I am a bit biased.
The best part about the whole thing, is that there is a pony car war again. So to sell cars, the manufacturers must be on their game always searching for that next little bit that puts their car over the top. I have driven both a Camaro and a Mustang as I wasn't sure which one I was going to buy last summer. In the end though, even though the Camaro looks to be a bigger car, I felt more cramped in it and it didn't have the visibility because you sit way down inside of the car.

Last time Ford "stole" from Aston Martin they owned them, so I wouldn't necessarily call that stealing.
