Re: Post your favorite scenes from a Western

The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance was another great Wayne movie, can't seem to find a many of clips on it.
I don't do signatures. Blondes, brunettes, and red heads are a different story.

I used to do that as well. My Grandpa and I used to watch old Westerns all the time. As I got older we would trade the different VHS and DVDs that we owned. He actually passed away a year ago today, crazy how fast time flies.

Sorry to hear that man, I still nostalgia a little bit about it when I see classics on T.V. and he's been gone close to 10 years.

Thanks. It is crazy how things like movies and pictures bring back those memories.

Sorry, but I don't know how to insert a clip of this, so I would welcome anyone who could do this for me. Another one of my favorite scenes is from the movie "My Name is Nobody", near the end, when Henry Fonda faces the Wild Bunch. Classic! (Thanks if you can help.)

This is mine as well. It's hard to explain to anyone who hasn't seen the film how epic of a crescendo this is.

Just about any scene from High Plains Drifter could make the cut, but my absolute favorite is when Clint Eastwood tells the hotel owner he needs to empty the hotel. It goes like this...

Clint Eastwood: How long is it going to take to get everyone out of the hotel?

Owner: Well, now, I can't just...I got eight people living in rooms up there! Where are they supposed to go?!?

    Clint Eastwood: ...out.

It's at the end of this clip: Belding's barn from High Plains Drifter (1973) - Video Dailymotion
