Whoever created the term "tebowing" for taking a knee and praying really ruined it for everyone else that does it, also opened it up for idiots to make a mockery of it. Im just kind of sick of it.. What Pierce did was neither funny nor genuine i think. clearly when you do it at the center of the court, when you know the camera is going to be on you, its just stupid and an attempt to draw more attention to yourself. If he was actually thanking God for making helping him make a dang free-throw in a highly competitive playoff game, great.

It was clearly genuine. How else could someone shred his knee be carried off the court and come back 3 minutes later healthy. Clearly divine intervention.

Do you know why I put up with this 'pitiful job', Mr. Donaghy, why I fetch these folks' lunches and clean up their barfs? Cause they make television. And more then jazz, or musical theater, or morbid obesity, television is the true American artform.
