Razr Maxx looks like a very good option, the razr hd is supposed to be out for too long, that might be an option as well.
I'm kind of shopping now too, as i'm up for upgrade on my Incredible. Ive been tempted by this one, the inc4g isnt bad but i want a larger screen this time around... i like the galaxy nexus but part of me says 'wait until the next nexus at this point'
I could've swore I could be the OP, I also have an X, been dying for a razr Maxx, but waiting for the price to drop. I heard the galaxy 3 is supposed to be awesome as well, but unless the battery matches the maxx, Ill skip it.
I have had a droid for a while and just last week got the Maxx. Like everything..4g speed and larger screen, screen quality is fine, battery life great..like the free apps. Not sure about the camera yet, just okay at this point until I can play with it more.
I also have the most recent iphone and I like it too, however, I use it mainly to check work e-mails and business calls, nothing more. I think the iphone is built more rugged and is a nice phone too.
I don't think you can go wrong with either.
iPhone 5 looks very promising. I know you don't want to wait, just thought I'd throw a couple more cents in. Proposed larger screen and thinner design.
I went with the Galaxy Nexus, no problems in 2 months so who knows long term, but I wouldn't have android with a manufacturer's skin over it.
Verizon is falling behind in getting the top phones out right now, especially from HTC. It seems they are waiting on the HTC One equivalent until the quad cores play nicely with LTE. Once that gets worked out, the next gen phones will be worth the wait.
Seriously, if anybody wants a phone pm me. I'll give you a discount.
Now move along.
Where are you still seeing it for $50? It was $50 briefly a while back (last week or two of March?), but VZW has it at $199 again. I've seen that mentioned a couple times in discussions about the Inc 4G.
