Watching kids on Jeopardy who have no clue who the presidents were in the 1970's.

Getting a smile from a good looking woman while I'm out in public, then realizing she's smiling because my 2 year old son is cute as heck, and she didn't notice me.

Looking in the mirror, realizing I am getting less hair on the top of my head to have to cut, more hair on my ears that I have to cut.

I remember floppy disks. Had them when I started school in 99.

Realilzing that people who started school the year I started high school have now progressed through every grade and have themselves graduated high school

I was leaving the Y one day after working out, and this little boy (maybe 3) kept looking at me and smiling. Then he asked his dad if I was grampa.

Seeing the ISU student section where they look like high schoolers and high schoolers like middle schoolers.

2. Watching kids play sports at ISU and realizing that I also watched their fathers playing sports at ISU (like JJ Moses and Andy Strensrud).

3. Mailings from funeral homes and crematorium societies! Yikes!

I listen to a lot of music, and a lot of new music. While there's a lot of stuff that isn't meant for me, I still see the value in it and understand why other people like it. I never thought I'd be one of those people to look down on what kids are listening to and say, "That **** is just noise."

That said, that **** is just noise.
