Short Term Housing

I have an opportunity to work for the summer in Illinois near the Quad Cities, but I have nowhere to live and was wondering if anyone has any experience or recommendations with finding short term housing.

I'm in college and this is just an internship, so I only need housing for a couple months.

I was thinking about an apartment if I could find one, or maybe even an extended stay at a hotel. TIA!

one of my buddies did a rotation for med school there and stayed short term in a decent apt...i think it was these

i have no idea if they are easy to get into for short term or not

You could try sub-leasing from college students if your job is located near any college/university.
