JFK jr saluting coffin gets me every time.

I also immediately thought of the naked Vietnamese girl from the Life magazine cover, Ruby shooting Oswald, 9/11, Hiroshima/Nagasaki, Marilyn Monroe on the storm drain, etc. Some of those are WTF. And definitely a political slant to a lot of them.

The one of the boy receiving his dads flag in memorial and the one where the dad knelt near his sons name on the 9/11 memorial got me.
I would think the one of the dog lying in front of the SEAL from Iowa's casket would be on there. Also the celebration in NYC after Osama was killed.

The father at his son's name at Ground Zero gets me every time. Will never forgetthat photo.

If this list is supposed to be a ranking, I can't comprehend how the Tianeman Square picture is not number one. That picture is the epitome of courage. Also I would say a pic of a plane hitting one of the twin towers, or perhaps the chaos that ensued. Isn't there a pic with a firetruck just covered in ash or something along those lines?

Me neither, and I am pretty big WWII buff. Awesome picture. Himmler and Tojo could have been long lost cousins.
