Ray Bradbury dead at 91Â* - NY Daily News The man was a genius. One of the godfathers of Sci-Fi.
"What a horrible night to have a curse." -Simon Belmont "Please bury me with all my stuff, because you know it's mine..." -Master Shake "Passersby were amazed by the unusually large amounts of blood."
The Martian Chronicles Something Wicked This Way Comes Fahrenheit 451 much much more than that, but those are some of my favorites.
I loved The Illustrated Man. He was an extraordinarily gifted writer, and not just sci-fi. Sad news.
I've probably read Fahrenheit 451 a half-dozen times.

Ripe old age but still makes me feel like crying. Maurice Sendak recently too.

Even if he was 91, it's sad to see the last of the "old guard" of Sci-Fi pass away. I'm sure he, RAH, and Asimov will enjoy their "heavenly" debates, even if RAH didn't necessarily believe in a heaven.
P.J. Farmer rocks!
For a mildly NSFW tribute to Ray Bradbury just do a google search for "Ray Bradbury and Rachel Bloom"
