The quality of ford concerns you? Not sure if serious.gif
I'm of an age where the Ford vehicles we had tended to not hold up. (neither did the Chevys either) .
So I'm a little reluctant to pull the trigger on the Ford. I got 12 years out of my last Nissan and trying to get my head around a Ford or any American vehicle being in that quality range.
I test drove a Fusion when we were looking for a replacement car 2 years ago. I really wanted to like it, because it was a nice car, I just couldn't get over the fact that when I stomped on the gas for emergency acceleration I got nothing. That's a deal breaker for me living in a large city.
I really liked the Nissan Altima and that's what we went with. I'd also look at the Hyundai Elantra.
Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice? Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.
I was looking at Fusions and Altimas a few months ago and really liked them. However, I ended up getting the Kia Optima instead. Gets about 26/35 MPG and has some nice power for only a 4 cylinder. I also liked the style better than the Fusion.
I don't think you can go wrong with a Fusion though. I believe it has ranked the #1 mid-size sedan for a few years now.
