I'm not into the i-stuff at all. But whatever keeps Mac OS afloat also keeps me from having to use windoze in my profession. So therefore.. DOWN WITH GOOGLE!
Yeah, Apple will kill Google by stopping people from using the internet, that will happen. My phone 6 years ago had some simplified internet browser and it was annoying. I was thrilled when the phone after that could display actual webpages. People are going to use the internet, sorry. Also consider the source, some of Jay Yarrow's recent articles:

I have to agree with you. I went from not having in Apple products to having 5 products in my house. I love fluidity of the iOS and how well they all pair together. That being said I wish it was a little more customizable.
I think that Apple will get to the top and coexist with Google. If Apple can get their TV out on the market it is just one more thing they will sell like crazy.
Google is bigger than Apple for all of those, but my point was that Google's not so dominant relative to everyone else that they're the undisputed top dog. Do a search for "google maps market share" and you'll see what I mean. I love Google Calendar, but I imagine that MS Outlook is still king, and Apple has huge potential in that they can integrate their calendar into all of the other apps you use on their devices. Picasa, while great, still has a host of limitations and flaws (Flickr, Photobucket, etc. do too, for that matter).
Although who knows; Apple's had almost a decade to tout their web browser, and Safari is still one of the ********* products I have ever used.
Personal attacks deleted. A reminder to keep it civil.
Yeah they dont seem to care about Safari a whole lot. They probably figure they will leave the browser choice up to the user. Chrome works great. I honestly dont see Apple and Google competing a ton. Of course each wants to dominate the other in the phone market, but outside of that I would imagine its pretty cooperative.
Not an apple fan here. I bought an Ipad and wasn't that impressived to begin with and then a neighbor bought a Toshiba thrive and after checking it out I want to throw the Ipad away and get something usefull.
I have had quite a few droid phones and love them so maybe my opinion is skewed because I am used to the google phones. So take the opinion for what it's worth.
And if Samsung is smart they will continue to offer them to Apple, but I think Apple in general is buying in to a bunch of start ups and competitors who they can help rise to the top. I cant find the article at the moment, but Apple is doing a good thing by helping to create more competition in the marketplace. Samsung has been kind of a ***** as of late and they used to be one of my favorite companies.
This is hilarious. Google completely ripped off their Android design from the iPhone. Voice commands? Apple bought Siri which existed long before Google dreamed of using it. Tey also partnered with Nuance to incorporate that feature long before Google dreamed of it. As for Samsung...they know which side of the bread is buttered and they can't afford to drop Apple. If they did Apple would take their business to someone else and completely change the market. Finally...the iPhone is a generation behind? What in the world is this based on?
