If I want to go golfing, I'm going golfing.
Within reason, of course. I'm not going to hit the links on our anniversary or anything like that.

All I want for fathers day is a nice relaxing day with my fam. Grill out, be outside in nice weather, maybe the pool, and some sweet lovin from my wife.

Wow, these posts are giving me the motivation to re-establish my position as man of the house. At least until I get home and am told to do some laundry.

You guys can't be married, right?
My wife is pretty good about letting me golf. I usually play Fri afternoons or early Sat. mornings. It gets a little more difficult when you have kids though. If I giver her enough warning, I can usually play whenever I want.

I get to sleep in until 8am, then I'm taking my daughter on a steam engine train ride.

I have PLENTY of married buddies that go golfing/out for drinks/fishing with me on a regular basis, though.
I understand not going if you & the Mrs. have something planned or whatever, but it's crazy if your wife needs to LET you do something you want to do.
