Gardening-Spinach Problems
I have some spinach in a pot that is having all kinds of issues. It germinated really well, then about 3/4 of the plants died off shortly after germination. It has been outside, in some pretty harsh sun, but I have been watering it about every other day. I am contemplating moving it inside on a window sill, and re-seeding the pot.
What do you think? Maybe I need to switch to some other variety of salad greens that likes the heat better. My apartment deck gets some pretty harsh full-on afternoon sun. Any suggestions on a type of salad green that would grow better with this weather.

Was your pot drying out between waterings?

Any white moldy stuff near the base?

Too hot this time of year for spinach. Lettuce would do okay.
