Living History Farms
Never been to it and I was curious what others thought of it.
Worth a trip? Yay or nay?

Re: Living History Farms
What are you looking for? I went nearly every year for a school field trip. So mostly same info over and over. Neat to see though!! I want to go on one of their event weekends and see the people dressed up and such.

If your in 5th grade and get to ride the bus and get out of school. Yes it's worth it. Grown adult? not so much. However the Machine Shed resturant right out in front is great though.
Nobody but HB knows for sure. You pretty much know nothing....like Knownothing would like to say.

Worth a trip? Yay or nay? Overrated, so keep your expectations in check. But one visit to learn a little about Iowa history wouldn't hurt you. Worth it.

Re: Living History Farms
You might want to watch out for water moccasins if you plan on bringing your wife or girlfriend. Also you might not want to go to smelly living history farms because it might be too hot/humid. Just a tip from an expert.

The period meals are kind of cool ... yet expensive.
