When is this supposed to happen in Ames? I got a letter from them but I cannot seem to find it, I must have thrown it out. Also what new channels am I going to get? Anyone already all digital?

It was supposed to happen in June 15th. I have no idea when the new channels are coming. If you already have a box or HD ready TV, you wouldn't notice the change.
Does this affect all the apartments that have Mediacom?
The switch got pushed back because they sent me another thing in the mail, I had to go get one of those conversion boxes. I know they are supposed to be putting out new channels but I don't know what they are or when they are releasing them. Hopefully National Geographic is included.Quote:

Yes, it affects everyone who has mediacom in Ames. If your TV is older than 2007 or something you have to go get a conversion box so that your TV isn't blacked out. Now if your landlords pay your cable I'm not sure exactly what you do besides talk to your landlord.Quote:
