    question on growing bell peppers

first time i have grown them. I have golden bells growing right now. do you leave them on the plant until they turn from green to yellow? or do you pick them early and let them ripen on your counter?

i am also growing purple beauties. how in the world do you know when they are ready? they are purple from the get go. i picked on last week and it didn't taste good at all.

Re: question on growing bell peppers

This early in the year and they are probably still a little tough. I've got full sized peppers as well but I am going to keep them on the plant until they start to crack a little.

BTW, are you a former Rugby player at ISU? I used to live on Clark Ave next to the house.

Haha, our house turned into an eviction notice as well, I don't think Rey Rey really cared about moving though as he had some choice words for old man Hatfield.

I also run into Ike about once every other year. Last time was at the 2010 football game in College Station, TX.
