I am Jack's complete lack of surprise.

Re: Who watches television?
I am seriously considering dropping cable tv altogether. Every time I look there is never anything I want to watch. And I am old and kinda stupid
They say country music speaks to the heart. Unfortunately, it has to go through your ears to get there. -
Re: Who watches television?
I wonder what the stats would be if they included internet surfing?

Re: Who watches television?
It shouldn't come as a surprise that older and less educated people watch more TV; they probably have more time to do so since they're more likely to be retired or unemployed, respectively. A more telling measure would be what percentage of individuals' non-working time is spent watching TV.

Re: Who watches television?
I have CF. I don't need TV.
...until we play on the road, then I need TV.

Re: Who watches television?
You almost could rephrase it as "People Without Jobs Watch the Most TV".

Re: Who watches television?
This doesn't surprise me considering 90% of network shows are reality and "talent" shows. I can't imagine too many educated folks watching these.
I wish there was a way to get only HBO and ESPN on cable. That's pretty much all I watch.

Re: Who watches television?
I would be just fine with The Velocity channel as my only channel. The history channel and Nat Geo are a disappointment now.

Re: Who watches television?
It's just a hunch, but I would think that the obese watch more than their fair share of television.
