Let's assume a span of 14', supported by 2x10's 2' on-center, with a 3/4" plywood decking. How full can you fill your 8'X18" pool, located at the mid point of the span before the floor fails? Ummm, I'm not a structural engineer. But who uses 2X10's anymore?

Re: ***Official It's Hot as Hell Thread***
102 here in Madison today. Supposed to be higher humidity tomorrow, same temps. Stepped outside a bit ago and it's hot but not horrible. I think it was Monday? That felt the worst. It was hot and incredibly humid. It was like stepping into a bathroom after a 30 minute hot shower.
Feeling for all those with farms out there (including my parents), when it doesn't even cool off at night, you start losing animals in this. Plus the crops are starting to look pretty tough around here. Need some rain!

The bottom of my feet were literally felt like they may blister walking from the island of the lazy river to the 50 meter pool at the Ames Aquatic Center today. They are still sore!
