Somehow the Nevada Dairy Queen can f up cheeseballs.
It's funny that you posted this, because I was going to say that Dairy Queen has some pretty awesome cheeseballs. When you're in Ames, try the DQ on Grand by the mall. I had really good ones there last time.
You gotta start somewhere, so it might as well taste good. I'm thinking the Nevada Starbucks is not the coffee Starbucks....?
Nope, legend has it that they only got away with keeping their name because they preceded the coffee Starbucks.Starbucks in Nevada has... frozen yogurt? I think it's that. It's really, really good. They have fruit flavors that change pretty regularly - the raspberry swirled with vanilla is awesome. It's worth a trip specifically to Nevada.
they keep the name because it is their name as in the owners.
Seriously how do you leave out Jethros? Their fried cheese and parmesan garlic smoked wings are to die for. Another good one is the corn and crab bisque at Prejeans in Lafayette, La. If you haven't checked out Jethros you are missing out. I typically go to the one in Altoona.
