Prime Rib
Anyone else a fan? I have no idea where to get some in the DSM area. Texas Roadhouse does not count

I love prime rib! I don't know of any places in Des Moines but if you ever get to Thor there is a little bar/restaurant called Unkies that has amazing Prime Rib.
“I told you, I don’t care if you’re black or white. I don’t care if you’re rich or poor. I don’t care where you come from, whether it’s Texas, Florida, California, or right here in the state of Iowa, I don’t care about any of that… But what I did care about is moving forward from that day on, that we were one team." -Paul Rhoads -
Re: Prime Rib
Iowa beef steakhouse. Maybe its on a poorer side of town, but its delicious. Also a lot of places downtown offer specials on stuff like that. If you have big money, I'd recommend 801 grand (best I've ever had, but it was very very expensive) If not, chicago speakeasy also has some decent prime rib. Now I'm hungry

Re: Prime Rib
Chance R, York, Nebraska
(I know not in DSM but it's the only good thing in Nebraska once you are west of Omaha.)

Re: Prime Rib
In no particular order (just what came to mind)...
Big Steer in Altoona
John & Nick's in Clive
Rube's Steakhouse in Waukee
Johnny's in West Des Moines
801 Chop House in Des Moines
Personal favorite is John & Nick's in Clive, so amazing. Hard to go wrong with any of these.

Re: Prime Rib
Well, that was the first time I've looked at the 801 Grand prices.
I expect my heart to start again in a few minutes.
