    OT: Dark Knight Rises

    Anyone else antsy to see Dark Knight Rises this weekend? I love Nolan movies and he's done amazing with the previous two Batman movies. This is getting amazing reviews thus far and can't wait to see Hardy play Bane. Got my advanced tickets in a VIP 21+ theater for date night Friday. Can't wait.

    Everything is a letdown if you anticipate it too much. Every review I've read has been positive. I've stayeda away from anything that might have a spoiler. Rotten Tomatoes is sitting at 96% after 28 reviews.

    This is one reason why I go into most movies w/ low expectations. I'm rarely disappointed.

    Rotten Tomatoes is decent but I find Metacritic is better to look at because they gather all the top critics and have actual numbers (all scores out of 100) for each review. As of right now, it stands at 90/100 with four perfect 100/100 scores.

    I saw bootleg footage of "The Man of Steel" trailer from Comic-Con this weekend. I'm really looking forward to that one. It wasn't a good recording, so I'm really looking forward to seeing it in front of The Dark Knight Rises.

    Zack Snyder is directing it. That made me nervous with the way he likes to mess with visuals like in 300, The Watchmen or Suckerpunch. From what I could see, it looks like he's restrained himself from that. What's even better is the villian looks to be Zod.
