How to stay dry in the rain
Re: How to stay dry in the rain
Ahh - but we are humans, and we care more about perceived dryness, not actual dryness.
I would hypothesize that people could be less dry overall but feel more dry if more of their surface area is dry.
In other words, I would sacrifice the top of my head and my shoulders getting more wet if I can keep the rest of me dry.

Edit note - that's based on the article, not the actual paper.
I also just thought about puddles if you're running. Though I suppose most of the time there aren't sufficient puddles to make a difference.

Yeah, I remember that one as well. I was just getting ready to post it because it's the first thing I thought of when I saw the thread title.
