Having this debate with my nephew... Do you wear underwear with board shorts or go commando like you do with swim trunks that have the built in netting?
I wear boxers but that's my preference. Material can be harsh on mini me

Board shorts get a speedo or compression shorts, otherwise you could be indecently exposing yourself. I also dont care to see your crack, so tighten them up.
