So the Headliners thread got me thinking, what is your favorite bar to go to in Campus town? Yes I know there are bars downtown but lets try to keep this within the Campus town region.
I think my favorite is Cy's Roost, just because of the "patio" though the bathroom smells like ****.
Second favorite might be EsTas or Welch Ave.
What are your favorites?
Es Tas by far. They probably have the best beer selection and I like the food.
I would say
1. Es Tas
2. Welch Ave
I really like the atmosphere at Es Tas and the food is great.
Welch Ave is seems to be really cheap and it has a lot of seating.
Paddy's and Cy's are nice but they're sooo expensive.
Welch Ave because its actually kept up decently and i enjoy the more mellow mood now that I'm a grad student, after that it would be es tas (good drink selection and fried tacos).
Welch Avenue Station by far.

I despise Cy's Roost. Smells like hot urine.
Mine was always Welch Ave to start, then end across the street at Tazzels.
It does have a funk to it, but when I'm drunk I don't notice it.Quote:
