I'm inclined to agree with the others here; this is a pretty ******* odd request and you shouldn't be butthurt that they didn't oblige you. Not only is it just strange in principle (DQ is not a "bring your own food and we'll prepare it for you" joint and if they allowed you to do this, they'd have to do it for every Joe Public too particular and/or lazy to make it at home), but I can see why it would be a liability risk to the franchise. What if you ha gotten sick from the food you brought in or choked on it, something like that, and decided to sue Dairy Queen?

Meh. Dont see why not, probably saves the DQ money by not using their own candy. I am sure they charge the same amount as they would for a normal blizzard. On the other hand, i could see them saying no.

The bold parts are truth. It would only take one idiot bringing in their own and getting sick and then suing the company. Not saying that person would win, but you can't take outside foods like that - health regulations.

If you aren't going to patronize a place for following the law, I really don't know what to tell you.
