When did FIBA get rid of the the trapezoid free throw lanes? What other rules are different? I know that traveling is new to the guys in the NBA.
I was wondering the same thing about the lane.
41-51 Record in CF Mafia. The most games played and wins by any player in Cyclone Fanatic History. Yes, I'm a nerd.
I think this might be the first big international tournament with the new lanes. They were talking about nba 3 point lines being used in 2016.

I dont like the no goaltending rule in international play. Just looks awkward when they snatch it right of the rim.

FIBA approved replacing the trapezoidal lane in 2008 but didn't go into effect until 2010. They also moved the 3-point line from 6.25m to 6.75m: USAB: FIBA Central Board Approves Historic Rule Changes
