I think I may pick a Friday night and go to an Ames High game this year... I've always been curious how Iowa HSFB compares to Ohio.

Ankeny will be very good on the offensive side of the ball. However it was their defense that was so stout last year that got them to the semis. I think they put up a ton of points this year.
Valley will be monstrous up front again and will pound on people in the run game, and they always reload on D.
2 teams that I thought might be able to scare a few teams this year, Waukee and Marshalltown, I have heard are really struggling with numbers. Maybe someone here can confirm?
No idea about Ames, with all the injuries they had last year, it is tough to tell who is legit coming back.

Also one other team that will give the top teams a run for their money this year is Urbandale. I think Anderson is one of the most underrated coaches in the area and does about the most with the numbers he has as anyone.
