Anyone have a good one for people who don't know html like myself?
I used to know dreamweaver quite well but that was 5 years ago.

I'd say go with a WordPress or Joomla (or something similar) that will give you plenty of options on templates and plugins that work easily. You can modify templates and the site as much as you feel comfortable with.
There are a lot of options for both WordPress and Joomla - though Joomla is far more than a personal site would typically need. You could also use something like Squarespace or Wordpress.com if you don't want to deal with the maintenance of self hosting.
A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player.
I would want one that I can use for a portfolio (Images), resume, etc.

I use WordPress for my company and my clients, and highly recommend it. For photos, you have lots of options. There are plenty of widgets for images/image galleries, or you could simply do them as a blog post. WordPress is also very strong with SEO these days.
