    Template websites

Anyone have a good one for people who don't know html like myself?
I used to know dreamweaver quite well but that was 5 years ago.

I'd say go with a WordPress or Joomla (or something similar) that will give you plenty of options on templates and plugins that work easily. You can modify templates and the site as much as you feel comfortable with.

Wordpress is pretty easy- I update our business site on that, and will probably use it for my personal one too.

    Re: Template websites

There are a lot of options for both WordPress and Joomla - though Joomla is far more than a personal site would typically need. You could also use something like Squarespace or Wordpress.com if you don't want to deal with the maintenance of self hosting.

I would want one that I can use for a portfolio (Images), resume, etc.

Wordpress.com would be perfect for that.

I've used Word Press the most, but recently I used weebly for a quick sit that only needed to be up for a couple months. Very easy and looked great.

Several options if you go the WordPress route, templates that are pretty well ready to go, just put in your images!

Here's a bunch of templates you can choose from: WordPress › Free WordPress Themes

(select the photo-blogging option under subject header and then find themes)

I use WordPress for my company and my clients, and highly recommend it. For photos, you have lots of options. There are plenty of widgets for images/image galleries, or you could simply do them as a blog post. WordPress is also very strong with SEO these days.
