Re: Something more serious......Where we're at
I remember what your old profile picture was of Jesus' traditional burial site and the empty grave there. As someone said, you'll see her again because there is hope in the resurrection for those with faith in the right place. Not that it makes it any easier now, but may hope for the future grip your hearts to sustain you in this midst of this flood.

Next time we see her, she'll be running around and living. We like that!

I know our girls are up there together playing, waiting for us. For your beautiful girl, I truly believe it will be but the blink of an eye before she is reunited with you.
Please remember that we're here for you guys for anything, anytime. We won't be able to make the funeral due to work meetings, but please know that we're here for whatever you might need.

Re: Something more serious......Where we're at
Very sorry Erik. It hurts my heart just thinking about it. Hang in there.

I should have known better than to read that at work. I'm an emotional guy and that's a heart-rending story.
When this life is over, you'll both meet her, I promise you, and she will be awesome, more than worth the wait.
They say that English surnames came from what you did with your life. I'm so glad my last name isn't Dickinson. -

I am so sorry for your loss! I will be keeping you in my prayers. I wish there was something more I could do! Please message me, if there is.
Your strength is inspirational.
Just in case you didn't know... I'm a girl. -

Re: Something more serious......Where we're at
Prayers are going your way. Thanks you for sharing this. It really puts things into perspective. Life is a blessing and some don't believe that or understand that. There is a reason we are all here. I dont' know if I could be as strong as you two are. I know my wife could but I would crumble.
Before having a kid I was strong independent things didn't phase me. Wow how that changed and for the better for the most part.
Best to the both of you.

Re: Something more serious......Where we're at
You, more than most, know that God works in mysterious ways but it is obvious He is there with both of you. Stay strong; you will see her again.

Re: Something more serious......Where we're at
Eric, so sorry to hear of your loss! I had you as a TA for both semesters last year and thoroughly enjoyed the enthusiasm and energy that you brought to the class every week...our conversations about the Cubs and Clones were also fun! But the thing I admired most about you was how evident your faith was in the way that you live your life. I can't even imagine the pain that the two of you have had to endure through this situation but I'm sure you know that God is always at work. He never leaves us and his grace and mercy are always more than enough! Stay strong and know that many are praying for you!

Re: Something more serious......Where we're at
So very sorry for your loss. I read this last night and was too emotional to reply at the time. I had to retuck my kids in bed and thank God for the gifts in my life. Prayers to you and your family.

Re: Something more serious......Where we're at
I've read this post probably six or seven times, and I still just don't know what to say. What I feel is sorrow and a sense of emptiness, but my empathy can't even come close to what you must be experiencing. Though we've never met, your ability to stay positive is extremely admirable, and can only mean that you're both very strong, faithful people; I'm happy that you have each other.
