I had two different options last night, go to a free country concert in Power & Light District (KC venue) where I'm sure there would have been plenty of eye candy or go golfing with my work league, both fun options for a single guy right? Yet I decided to go home sit on the couch and watch the start of college football, is this good or bad?
I don't enjoy politics. I'm an independent and there are times it seems both sides need to grow up and quit making it an "us vs them" thing and just truly care for people of all kinds (rich, poor, etc)....and I wish folks would look at elections as what's going to be best for the most, not just me.
Oh and I hate the interaction of facebook and politics. I have a lot of my friends I think are whack jobs on each side.
Not to start another weddings on football days thread but I am extremely bummed I have to miss the game tomorrow for a wedding (for two ISU grads!). One of my co-workers bought my girlfriend's and my tickets and it made me physically ill to hand them over
I confess that I was a bit intoxicated when I parked my car Wednesday night. When I went to retrieve it two hours later I thought I had just forgotten where I had parked. Took me a good 10 minutes to realize it was most likely towed.
I also confess that after getting my car from the impound lot I went back and parked my car back at the Grove.
