Lincoln Coach Suspended

Word out now that he has been fired. WOndering if there is more to story than what is mentioned here?

Probably similar to the respect teachers get now a days.

Although I would roll my eyes everytime our line coach would tell us that back in the old days he would have a lineman break a spring in the sled.

Yeah I always imagined they were made of wood or something, but didn't want question the coach. I thought he worked us hard enough as it was.

Don't know what to think about this. I didn't know Mihalovich personally but I think he was very good for the discipline on the south side and bringing some pride to that area. I've heard several times of his antics toeing the line over the last several years but it sounds like this time he crossed it

I heard he pooped in the urinal in the locker room ****** the coach off because he is best friends with the janitor so they ran him almost to death. Pirate needed?

Running a kid to the point of seizing seems like a fireable offense to me.

Depends on the details, which we don't know. A kid could have a seizure sitting on the bench during practice or a game or sitting on his sofa playing video games. If a kid had a seizure due to heat stroke and he was denied water or the coach kept working him despite warning signs, absolutely. If a kid seized while not overworked and didn't have any warning signs, that may be a different matter.

Let's see what the facts are -- then lynch him.
