Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA
So I'm in Annapolis and just finished another one of these fine ales. This might be the bet IPA I have had. Ever. The 60 minute is good, as is the 120, but the 90 has a flavor that stands alone.
A couple more of these and I will be out cold.

A couple more of these and I will be out cold. I second this. Easily the best beer I've ever had. Just wish they sold it up here in Minnesota.

Re: Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA
Why is it called 90 minute and 60 minute, etc.

To answer the other question, think of the minute as the 'hoppiness'. 90 has much more hop flavor and maltiness. 120 is like an out of control imperial. There alcohol % increases with the minutes too. 60, 90, 120 is probably like 6%, 9%, 18% respectively.

damn it i thought you were announcing they were going to start selling in iowa again. i found it last year at the hy-vee in ankeny (it was the 60 minute i believe) but when i asked why it disappeared, one of the hy-vee booze managers said it was being sold illegally in iowa by a distributor.

Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed. Then look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, "It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than selfish and worry about my liver."

Meh...90 was ok. Lately I really like Double Jack from Firestone Walker, Resin from Sixpoint, Abrasive from Surly is probably my favorite. My bottle shop just started getting Oskar Blues and I picked up a Deviant Dale for tonight which I've never had.

The new hy-vee n urbandale has a sweet selection of beer. I also like that you can put together your own six pack for $8. I also downloaded a new beer app that lets you scan the UPC and see reviews.

I like the 90 well enough. But I think there are a ton of better IPAs out there Stone, Deviant Dales, Modus Hoperandi. I dont like the 60 but i would really to try the 120.

A couple more of these and I will be out cold. Hear, hear! If you're able, go visit one of their brewpubs and get it draft. They usually have some of their experimental batches on tap, and their brown is also very decent (and the food is pretty good, too). The IPA is by far the best, though. I just wish they did growler fills.

Victory hop devil is good, Stone iPa is very good, another one is Tuppers Hop Pocket Ale which is great.
